The magic of Paris still works for the new menswear collections that were filled with positive energy, talent and changes, notably throughout the two major brands of the LVMH group. First of all the arrival of American designer Virgil Abloh to Louis Vuitton. For the occasion a 250 meter rainbow coloured podium was erected and 2500 guests were invited, among whom were staff, young fashion students and of course an array of celebs who came to support the designer adored by Millenials.Another major première was the Dior Homme show, by ex-Louis Vuitton artistic director Kim Jones, who presented a fresh collection barely 4 months after starting there, with an incredible set signed by the artist Kaws and without forgetting the celebrities. These two events took over social media, among many others that were worth seeing. Especially from a décor point of view, included, the childlike world of Thom Browne, the Balmain show taking place in the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the floral installations and live orchestra at Kenzo, and finally the enormous production with coloured smoke at Rick Owens.Beside trends, even if sportswear has been taking over wardrobes and will surely continue to into 2019 and the perfect suit is still here, each company showed their expertise with perfectly flowing, light materials and an ultimate elegance!Vibrant colours, are in their way unmissable, especially orange pink that is visible everywhere. Logomania has never been so flamboyant… using big house branding is now the must-have. Music royalty free: Bandit & Nikit
