Pure London looked relatively busy last week despite the industry and retail sector facing huge challenges, from the impact of Brexit to business rate rises. Most interesting was the offer from newcomers to the show.
France's Etam Développement had a mixed time of it last year with some geographies performing well and others proving more sluggish, while Q4 saw improving sales trends compared to a tougher time earlier in the year.
WSN Développement, the organizer behind Who's Next-Première Classe, published its final visitor tally for the show session ending 23 January. Attendance did in fact drop again, despite positive feedback on the show.
The trade show that closed Monday saw its attendee numbers stabilize after a drop for the 2016 edition following the terrorist attack on Paris. Some exhibitors were optimistic while others felt traffic was still too low.
