Mark Howard Thomas has quit Helmut Lang, barely two years after being appointed creative director of menswear of the fashion house - leaving one month after presenting a critically acclaimed Lang show in New York.

In a major move, the house of Helmut Lang has chosen the experienced menswear designer Mark Howard Thomas to be its new Creative Director for menswear. Thomas, 41, joins Helmut Lang from Joseph, the UK-based house.
