Buoyed by the Mondogenius project's record results and the recent entry on the perfume market, Moncler has announced it will move into 38,000 m2 new Milanese headquarters not far from those of Prada and LVMH.
The French label bought in 2018 by Chinese group Icicle is relaunching in Europe. It recently upgraded its website and dropped a new perfume, and has now revamped its long-established Champs-Elysées flagship in Paris.
In early August, fragrance specialist Interparfums, owner of Rochas, announced the termination of the label's menswear collections due to the economic crisis, ending the collaboration with designer Federico Curradi.
Moncler said on Thursday it had signed an agreement with France's Interparfums to start selling perfumes, as it seeks to diversify its brand and lessen the impact of the coronvirus crisis on the luxury goods sector.
