Inditex executive chairman Pablo Isla has nominated Carlos Crespo for the role of CEO of the group. The appointment will be effective in July further to the approval of the board at the annual general meeting.

The Spanish apparel retailer is exploring personalisation with a denim collection which will allow customers to add embroidered words. The service will be available online and in select stores from 27 March.
