LVMH has appointed Chris de Lapuente as its new Chairman and CEO of the luxury conglomerate’s Selective Retailing Division, making him one of the most powerful executives within the giant French luxury conglomerate.
The brand general manager of Parfums Christian Dior is succeeding Laurent Boillot as head of Guerlain at the beginning of November. According to AFP, Boillot will take over at cognac brand Hennessy in 2020.

The rumoured launch by LVMH of a global label with pop star Rihanna is now official and imminent. Heralded for this spring, the label is called Fenty, the name of some of Rihanna’s existing product lines.
The luxury giant and its labels are adopting measures to promote diversity and gender equality, and recently LVMH adhered to the code of conduct against the discrimination of the LGBTQ community in the workplace.
