Brexit is looming but London is still the top springboard into Europe for retailers, new figures from CBRE have shown. But Hong Kong is global leader while Dubai and Doha show the Middle East remains key.
According to a recent CBRE study, which surveyed global retailers on their focus markets for retail openings in the coming year, the UK and France came in at number one and two spots for popularity, respectively.
British high-end retailer L.K. Bennett said it plans to open five stores in Russia, shrugging off the political and economic challenges of working in a country that's been under Western sanctions for almost three years.
