Vajor launches new womenswear brand Cape & Cloth

Vajor has launched a new brand geared towards women’s work wear called Cape & Cloth that will be available on the business’ website from June 20.

The brand Cape & Cloth has been created to cater to modern business women with simple, minimalistic wardrobe options. Products include smart jumpsuits, dresses with pockets, shirts, simple tops, blazers, trousers, and shoes. The brand’s first collection is priced from Rs 799 to Rs 2,999.

In an interview with Charu Lamca, Vajor’s Stylist Shreyasi Pathak said about the new brand: “Cape & Cloth is a brand by Vajor that will fulfil every women’s work wear needs. Think of a modern, independent woman. A woman that is driven by her passion and her hunger for success... Keeping this striking persona in mind, think of how she would dress every day. While she is weaving her way up the ladder of a successful, inspiring career, this woman would favour functionality over aesthetics. However, this is the kind of favouritism she shouldn’t need in the first place. This is where the brand Cape & Cloth becomes a part of her lifestyle.”

Based in Gurgaon, according to the new brand’s Facebook page, the brand is slowly teasing images of the upcoming collection. Garments are designed to be appropriate for both work and recreation and the brand aims to fill what it sees as a gap in the market for affordable, simple, women’s workwear.
