UBM Fashion this August will debut its first-ever [email protected] consumer-facing show at the Javits Center in New York City. The fashion industry will have access to vintage design, style and period pieces from Sunday, August 6 through Tuesday, August 8.

The consumer-facing fair will feature a curated selection of vintage dealers, showcasing one-of-a-kind apparel and accessories collections for wholesale and retail. Show attendees will have access to luxury vintage designer products like gowns, furs and personal pieces by Missoni, Versace, Issey Miyake and Norma Kamali, as well as accessible sportswear, t-shirts, and denim from vendors such as Dusty Rose Vintage, Brent Edward Vintage, The Wayward Collection, and curator and industry expert Bridgette Morphew’s Morphew Concept.
Intermezzo Collections first debuted its business-to-business [email protected] neighborhood at the New York Women’s show in May. UBM felt that the next step was to open the show to the public.
"Vintage brings provenance to one's wardrobe and represents another time, when clothing and accessories were not mass produced but crafted by hand with a true love for the actual product itself,” said Show Director Peter Berta. “It speaks to the journey that has brought us to today and influences the way we see ourselves in the future."
[email protected] will also feature a 'Value of Vintage' panel discussion with Iris Apfel, designer Norma Kamali, and Stephanie Solomon, VP and Fashion Director at Lord & Taylor, and moderated by Accessories Magazine Editor in Chief Lauren Parker, as well as a Q&A with Story founder Rachel Shechtman.
[email protected] at Intermezzo Collections will be held during UBM Fashion's NY Women's August Marketplace alongside Accessorie Circuit and AccessoriesTheShow, Fame, Moda, and Children's Club.
