Tumi creates statement travel pieces with Eva Fehren

Tumi has announced it has partnered with artist and designer Eva Zuckerman of Eva Fehren Fine Jewelry for a limited edition holiday capsule collection of luxury travel accessories.

The four piece Tumi capsule collection includes a tote with an accompanying crossbody bag, a jewelry roll and a jewelry box. Tumi Creative Director Victor Sanz explained the significance of the collaboration with the jewelry designer. He explained that the company is responding to the trend of "travel pieces [becoming] more and more of a fashion statement."

Sanz said that the goal with the collection is not just to provide functional pieces but to also inspire customers in their fashion journey.

Eva Fehren Fine Jewelry was founded by Eva Zuckerman and Ann Gorga. The brand is sold nationwide at Barneys New York and has amassed a celebrity following including Sarah Jessica Parker, Emma Watson, Rihanna, Jennifer Lawrence and Charlize Theron.

Sanz said Tumi is excited "to continue to introduce very fashion-focused pieces" into the brand's assortment, suggesting the possibility of Tumi collaborations with more fashion brands in the future.

According to Zuckerman, the Eva Fehren capsule collection for Tumi was inspired by the idea of creating accessories to fit into the "modern woman's lifestyle." The pieces in the capsule feature a custom black and white print painted by the designer. The Eva Fehren branded dagger is also featured on each piece as a nod to the collaboration.

The Tumi x Eva Fehren collection will be exclusively available at select Tumi stores in the US and globally. It will also be available online through Tumi and Eva Fehren's e-commerce sites. Price points range from $150 to $895.
