Tory Burch is scheduled to launch its activewear line, Tory Sport, on September 22. To celebrate this, it is also launching a pop-up shop on Elizabeth Street, which, according to Women's Wear Daily, is scheduled to open this Wednesday. The 1,200-square-foot space is where the brand launched its first boutique 11 years ago.

CEO and Designer Tory Burch said: “I am thrilled to be launching Tory Sport with a pop-up shop at our original Tory Burch location. We wanted to create a space with a cool, athletic vibe that represents the elegance of sport.”

The Tory Sport collection was first announced in July. The collection is inspired by the grace and strength of athletes and feature pleated tennis skirts, anoraks, fitted leggings, neoprene coats and skirts, oversized sweaters and classic track suits in Coolmax, Schoeller and Eurojersey fabrics. Tory Sport may appear retro in aesthetic, but it is modern in its fabrication.

The Tory Sport pop-up designed by Tory Burch and Kate McCollough is a modern spin on the classic country club style. The store features a retro interior with bold design details, crisp white board and batten walls, wainscoting and wide-plank floors, courtside seats and canvas-covered armchairs with blue and green varsity stripes. Original artwork by fashion illustrator, Kelly Marie Beeman, can be found in store as well as vintage photography and videos.

The activewear collection will be available exclusively at torysport.com and
at the pop-up shop with a Flatiron-district store to follow in 2016. Prices range from $55 to $550.

At the time of writing, Tory Burch could not be reached to confirm the opening of the pop-up store on Wednesday
