Topshop launches Juicy couture hoodie and jogger collection

Topshop is making the most of the athleisure trend with the launch of an exclusive Juicy Couture collection, which is only available at the retailer’s Oxford Circus, London, flagship and on its website.

While there has been much speculation about whether the athleisure trend is set to fade, sales appear to be holding up at high street level and the trend-led retailer has linked up with a label that was doing athleisure before the term was even coined.

The new offer features recognisably Juicy Couture basics - velour hoodies in a either a logo or logo-free version and joggers. They come in a range of colours including allover pink, black, oxblood, olive green or an inky amethyst.

Prices range from £99 for a pair of joggers to £160 for a logo hoodie, which is not far below what a non-Topshop Juicy Couture piece would cost. However, the retailer’s high fashion profile and reputation as a trend barometer gives it pricing power not shared by many other UK high street chains.
