An exclusive line of German fashion brand Tom Tailor is on the way that will be designed and manufactured in India with an aim to be retailed globally, according to Devender Gupta, founder of Inceptra Lifestyle Pvt Ltd, which owns the exclusive rights of the brand in India. The brand will also aggressively expand in tier-1 and tier-2 cities, he said.

In an interview to Fibre2Fashion, Gupta said the Hamburg-based brand is working on two new exclusive lines — Tom Tailor Contemporary, in line with Indian motifs on western silhouettes, and Tom Tailor Polo, focused on premium pique polo for men.

The key trends for Autumn/Winter 2018-19 will be a lot of detailing of ruffles, tassels and pleats, he added.
