Timberland trusts Gordon Baird with European market

Timberland has just appointed one of its former employees, Gordon Baird, to the newly created post of European director. He had previously worked for Timberland from 1997 to 1999 as the head of British and Scandinavian markets before moving to Adidas where he served as managing director of ‘Area North’. Later in his career, Baird was most notably president of Wolverine’s Heritage Brands (Cat, Harley Davidson, etc) and ma,ager of Shoe Studio.
Gordon Baird is now back at Timberland to take charge of retail and wholesale development in Europe. He will report directly to Richard O’Rourke, senior vice president of the international market.
