The two Messe Frankfurt trade shows, Texworld and Apparel Sourcing, will be held from February 12 to 15 in Paris and will feature 85 new exhibitors in one case and 17 new companies in the other, mainly from China, Turkey and South Korea. The two shows will feature 625 fabric suppliers, and 55 manufacturing companies.

The textile trade show is expanding its range with 17 new fabric suppliers, including Turkey’s Balsoy Tekstil, Thailand’s Gemma Knits, South Korea’s MJ Youna and China’s Shaoxing County Hongji Textile. The show also welcomes around fifteen companies specializing in embroidery and lace, India’s Divinia Exports and Turkey’s Antik Dantel, as well as two companies focusing on silk and silk-look fabrics, including Chinese company Silkwoo. Nine companies specializing in cotton will also be present, including BTa Tekstil from Turkey and El Hesn from Egypt, as well as Chinese linen manufacturers Shenzen Best Linen and Hangzhou Shengtex Linen. Not to mention six new brands in the prints sector.

Apparel Sourcing, the show dedicated to ready-to-wear and accessories, will for its part present a range of goods still largely dominated by Chinese and Indian manufacturers, and to a lesser extent by businesses from Bangladesh. There will also be participation to a lesser degree by companies from Vietnam, Turkey, Pakistan and Belgium.

In February 20012, the two shows attracted 13,400 professionals, up 3.3% on the previous year. The edition in question suffered from a significant reduction in the number of Italian and Turkish visitors present.
