After recently presenting his latest collection in Paris at the Ozone Showroom from January 18 to 24, Rajesh Pratap Singh took it to LFW. In collaboration with Tencel, Singh presented his collection as part of LFW’s Sustainable Fashion Day, which took place on February 1 and marked day two of the fashion week that is currently running at Mumbai’s Jio Garden until February 4.

Singh presented a collection of both men’s and womenswear featuring sharp tailoring and primary colours for both genders. Male and female models were dressed in structured blazers and coats given a more playful feel by the use of bright red, pink, orange, and yellow textiles as well as the use of stripes. Modern jewellery and 70s style sunglasses accessorised the collection and the overall feel was bold and fun yet smart.

Founded in 2004, Tencel Lenzing is a textile production business based in Austria. Lenzing also presented the talk “Innovation in Sustainable Fashion” that preceded Singh’s runway show and was held at Jio Garden’s 6Degree Studio. Singh founded his eponymous label in 1997 after graduating from NIFT, Delhi, where he is also currently based. The designer has taken part in a series of collaborations including with Chivas Regal, Grey Goose, Nexa, and Shingora and has presented collections in both Paris and Milan.
