Tata Cliq to add 150 luxury brands to folio, Diesel first
Tata Cliq will add over 150 brands to its luxury portfolio over the next six months on top of the 100 brands it currently has, starting with Diesel.
The first brand Tata Cliq will launch on its site in India is Diesel denim and apparel. The business is in the process of negotiating with a number of international fashion brands for tie-ups and launches but it aims to have a strong focus on Indian luxury brands as well.
Tata Cliq also plans to add new sections to its website specifically for accessories and lifestyle products. Brands such as Mont Blanc and William Penn will feature in a stationary section and biking gear and luxury golf kits will also feature in the lifestyle section.
The online portal, Tata Cliq Luxury, already includes brands such as Armani, Furla, Tumi, Hugo Boss, Coach, Seiko, Dune, and Michael Kors. The site delivers across India and also offers pick up delivery options.
Tata Cliq was launched in June 2016 as an online fashion portal. The business has ovwe 1,200 brands, 100 of which currently in the luxury section for which the total will soon be 250.
The site also retails electronics and footwear and describes itself as a “phygital” retailer.
