Tata Cliq Luxury named exclusive retail partner for Woolmark in India

Tata Group’s luxury e-commerce platform, Tata Cliq Luxury, has partnered with The Woolmark Company, with the aim to promote Australian Merino wool across the country.

The partnership will give the e-commerce firm the exclusive retail rights for Woolmark’s designer collections in the Indian market.
 
Tata Cliq will also be a partner for the International Woolmark Prize with the company’s Chief Operating Officer, Vikas Purohit, joining the judges panel for the 2017/18 global final.

Commenting on the partnership Vikas Purohit, Chief Operating Office, Tata CLiQ, said in a statement, “We are very happy to associate with The Woolmark Company to help and promote the young and talented designers who create innovative and versatile designs with Merino wool. Tata CLiQ Luxury endeavours to provide its discerning consumers a differentiated experience and this association is in line with this commitment. Our consumers can now access an exclusive Merino wool capsule collection by budding designers online through Tata CLiQ Luxury.”
 
The Woolmark Company Country Manager India, Arti Gudal added, “Our association with Tata CLiQ Luxury stems from our shared vision to bring new technique and innovation from the global fashion industry to consumers in India. We’re delighted to have the brand as our retail partner in India as this enables us to spread awareness on Merino wool and also increase its consumption across the wool supply chain through various collaborations.”
 
Tata Cliq recently expanded its luxury offerings with the addition of brands like Diesel, BCBG Max Azria, Juicy Couture and Scotch & Soda to its portfolio.

The multi-brand e-commerce platform also launched an exclusive luxury app to cater to the needs of luxury shoppers on its platform and the partnership with Woolmark is expected to further strengthen its luxury portfolio.
