Tamara Mellon is appointed Business Ambassador for Britain

Tamara Mellon OBE, the Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Jimmy Choo Limited, has been appointed Business Ambassador for Britain by the Prime Minister, the Rt Hon David Cameron MP, as part of his strategy to grow the UK economy by opening new markets, increasing trade and encouraging investment.

This appointment follows Ms. Mellon’s award of an OBE last month for services to the fashion Industry and comes on the cusp of the company's 15th anniversary in 2011.
