Sweaty Betty launches first U.S. concession at Bloomingdale’s
London-based premium activewear brand Sweaty Betty opened its first U.S. concession at Bloomingdale’s Manhattan 59th Street location on March 27th. This marks the first time Bloomingdale’s has had an activewear concession.
The boutique concession reflects the brand’s British heritage. British designs are prevalent throughout the active apparel collection fit for yoga, running, dancing and swimwear.
Sweaty Betty’s first foray in the U.S. market occurred in 2012 when it opened its New York City SoHo and Greenwich, Connecticut locations. The brand is set to open a fourth U.S. store location in New York City’s Flatiron District in May.
Since its launch in 1998, the brand has opened over 40 boutiques in the United Kingdom as well as concessions in Harrods and Selfridges.
