Stradivarius is continuing to expand. The Inditex-owned women’s fashion retailer has significantly increased its number of physical stores, and has now added a new market to the sixty countries where it is already established: the UK. Almost a year after the launch of a British e-commerce site, Stradivarius has now opened its first physical store in the Westfield Stratford shopping center in East London.

The 4,250 square foot flagship store marks the brand’s entry into the UK market at a time when it is celebrating its twentieth anniversary. Further openings should follow if Inditex’s usual conduct is taken into account. With a strong presence in Europe, the Middle East and South America in particular, Stradivarius now has 877 stores worldwide, a figure that is steadily rising.
