St. John Knits appoints former Louis Vuitton boss as CEO
St. John Knits has appointed an ex-LVMH boss Geoffroy van Raemdonck as chief executive officer of the company. He takes over from Glenn McMahon who held the role since 2007.
Van Raemdonck previously served as president of South Europe for Louis Vuitton and has racked up almost 20 years’ experience in retail. During his time at the luxury brand, the seasoned executive led operations in 22 countries which generated over one billion dollars in sales. St. John Knits, founded in 1962, has evolved from a family-run business to a global luxury brand based in Irvine, California. The brand is currently sold in 26 countries across the world and has 25 company-owned stores.
