Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty to show at New York Fashion Week

The Barbadian star’s inclusive lingerie brand has announced that it will be unveiling its Fall collection at New York Fashion Week this September, opting for a see-now-buy-now show at an as yet undisclosed location.
 

A press release from the brand describes the first Savage x Fenty runway as an “immersive experience” and explains that fans will be able to buy the new collection immediately after the show on the brand’s website, as well as at pop-ups at New York’s Mall of America and two other locations which were not specified.
 
Further details about the runway show are scarce but the event is sure to attract a lot of attention. Since it launched – and promptly sold out – in May of this year, Rihanna’s lingerie brand has consistently attracted praise for its inclusive range of sizes and shades, as well as its wide variety of styles, which include everything from comfortable basics to lace corsets and sheer, marabou-trimmed robes.

A line of adult accessories entitled “Xccessories” released by the brand at the end of June saw similar success, with some items selling out within 24 hours of the collection’s launch.
 
Savage x Fenty’s NYFW runway show will take place on September 12, 2018, at 7:30 pm.
