The 4,000 m² store is the largest in Reserved’s entire portfolio and will employ 75 people.

One year after the Polish chain’s entry to the German market, it now operates nine stores, which will be followed by more store openings in Aachen, Ludwigsburg and Mannheim by the end of this year.

The apparel label, whose current campaign stars Georgia May Jagger, also plans to open locations In Essen, Hanover, Ludwigsburg, Munich, Berlin and Cologne over the next two years, and has signed a lease for a 2,700 m² store in Hamburg’s Spitalerstraße to debut in early 2017.

Reserved’s Director for Germany, Martin Kanngiesser, revealed positive results for the company’s first twelve months in the country. Childrenswear was slightly weaker than the other retail categories, growing 15 per cent in sales rather than 25 per cent.
