Ballet shoe experts Repetto launched their first ever fragrance this Monday, developed in partnership with Interparfums. This move marks the second product diversification for the French brand which in 2012 launched a ready-to-wear collection.

Inspired by the art for dance, the perfume – entitled ‘Repetto’ – comes delicately packaged in a pink-ribboned bottle and features dance star Dorothée Gilbert as the face of the campaign.

The group sells its products in over 60 countries and has over 20 stand-alone stores in France, Asis, the Middle East and Brazil. “We will be opening our first ever Chinese store in Shanghai in September,” added the CEO.

Repetto reported turnover of 60 million euros in 2012, an increase of 20% on the previous year, with just over half coming from sales outside of domestic market France. “We have had an average annual growth of 20% over the past 14 years and the company no longer has any debts,” said CEO Jean-Marc Gaucher.
