Quirk Box holds pop-up shop in Hyderabad
The eclectic fashion brand Quirk Box held a pop-up shopping event at the Taj Krishna in Hyderabad from July 12 to 13. The pop-up stocked menswear, womenswear, and art.
The pop-up shop showcased Quirk Box’s latest spring/ summer collection. “Hyderabadis, come by check out our beautiful new pieces,” said the brand on its social media.
The event featured an array of Quirk Box’s signature printed garments, this season drawing their inspiration from Japanese woodblock prints among other art movements. Prints this season include cranes, Geisha, and Japanese waves. The brand also created a special edition print for the ongoing Fifa World Cup that features abstract style football players.
Quirk Box was co-founded in 2011 by Jayesh Sachdev who is also a partner in the business. Sachdev describes the brand as, “synonymous with all things fun, offbeat and quirky. Our exuberant approach to the everyday encourages personal style with a dash of incandescent charm. We call it life in technicolour.” The brand recently forayed into product design and created the packaging for ten products by the beauty brand Global Beauty Secrets.
