Pitti Uomo kicked things off. Indeed, Ports 1961 invited its audience to discover the second menswear collection by Milan Vukmirovic while sipping on a cocktail and enjoying the fresh air on a terrace on one of the most beautiful squares in Florence. The Piazza d’Ognissanti, located between the 13th century church of the same name, at the very centre of Florence, and the Arno.

In a laidback atmosphere, the svelte models took to the runway with surfboards under their arms, in chic sports attire that was both flawless and completey wear-worthy, combining basic articles with easy-to-wear items, all the while bearing easy elegant mlines and fine materials.

"There's a moment, as a man, that we need comfort. We are attractive because we feel good But nowadays, men have a hard time dressing in fashionable brands, there's a lot of vintage going around and little comfort," he pointed out.
The new menswear image of Ports 1961, offered by the multi-faceted designer who lives in Miami, has given new life to the brand, which corresponds to the life the Ceo Salem Cibani is looking to infuse it with. "We didn't want to show in a usual and boring place, we wanted to offer a cool and laidback moment,' he said.

"We want to do the same thing with our store in New York, which is located in Manhattan's Meatpacking District. We are going to transform it into a store solely dedicated to menswear, with a space for relaxing, which we will unveil in September during the nex fashion week. At the same time, our Parisian store on Rue Saint Honoré will be turned into a womenswear store," he said.
