Perry Ellis to host Instagram fashion show on September 27

Perry Ellis is taking its runway show to the digital world on Tuesday. The American lifestyle brand is hosting an Instagram fashion show with influencers that have a combined total of over 8 million followers.

 
100 Pieces of Perry, the digital fashion show initiative, will feature influencers sharing photos of themselves on Instagram while wearing the Perry Ellis fall 2016 collection. Perry Ellis solicited influencers earlier this year and rounded up as many as 100 men. The 100 men were sent pieces and instructions on how to participate in the fashion show.
 
The digial fashion show is Perry Ellis’ way to participate in the see-now-buy-now format. Like Tommy Hilfiger this season, Perry Ellis is presenting its fall collection, and the brand will present on Instagram like designer Misha Nonoo who debuted her spring 2016 collection on the social media platform. The brand boosted sales immediately with its digital rollout.

The Perry Ellis 100 Pieces of Perry initiative begins on Tuesday, September 26.
