Pernia's Pop-Up Shop holds Delhi shopping event, Kashmiraa shows collection
For the festive season, Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop has hosted some physical pop-up shops in Delhi and the most recent of which is for the Mumbai based brand Kashmiraa.
Kashmiraa opened their pop-up retail outlet in Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop’s current brick and mortar space in New Delhi’s Defence Colony on November 24 and it is currently still running. Some of the pieces that Kashmiraa have brought for their pop-up store include embroidered blouses, evening dresses, cocktail dresses, and other items from their current resort 2017 collection entitled “La Perle en Fleur”. The collection features tailored western wear pieces with ample amounts of green and dark turquoise. Most pieces in the collection are heavily embellished and this gives the collection a festive party vibe.
Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop’s foray into brick and mortar stores, although only on a temporary basis could indeed be the start of the business taking a more omni-channel approach. Many brands, both online and offline, are seeking to bridge to gap between e-commerce and physical stores in India in order to reach as many customers as possible and Pernia Qureshi’s e-commerce fashion store is no different.
Kashmiraa was founded in 2015 by Kashmiraa Gandhi and the brand is based in Mumbai with a flagship store in the city’s Khar West district. The brand sells a mix of traditional and western wear and is also available on a variety of e-commerce sites and brick and mortar boutiques such as Aza Fashions, Not Just a Label, and Strand of Silk.
