Pernia Qureshi partners with Purple Style Labs for domestic and international expansion of Pernia’s Pop Up Shop
Pernia’s Pop Up Shop has partnered with Purple Style Labs. The joint venture will see the multi-brand online business expand offline, with international brick and mortar stores and events planned.

As part of the joint venture, 10 editions of Pernia’s Pop-Up Show are planned for this season, including six international editions starting this month. A total of 10 multi-brand brick and mortar Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop stores are also planned with three international locations in the works.
“Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop shall act as an important catalyst in our journey of building a globally renowned fashion house out of India,” said Purple Style Labs’ founder, Abhishek Agarwal. “We believe that in years to come, premium fashion will be one of the highest growth sectors and PSL shall be the forerunner in India’s fashion story.”
In order to fund the international omni-channel expansion of Pernia’s Pop Up Shop, Purple Style Labs carried out a round of investment and raised $3 million (Rs 20 crore) from investors including Flipkart’s co-founder Binny Bansal, Astarc Ventures, and Citurs Pay’s founder Jitendra Gupta as well as existing investors including Calcutta Angels.
Qureshi launched Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop as a multi-brand online store in 2012. The brand now has two brick and mortar stores and the upcoming editions of Pernia’s Pop-Up Show are scheduled for Mumbai and Delhi in September. Purple Style Labs was founded by Agarwal in 2015 and provides analytics and technology to the fashion industry.
