Paytm is also expecting over 5 million new users during their four day sale event which starts on the same day as Flipkart’s BBD. Paytm has assured the customers shopping on its platform high cashbacks and earmarked Rs 501 crore (approx $79 million) on the sale event.

Paytm Mall will give a big push to its Online-to-Offline (O2O) model, as the sale orders will be serviced by the nearest brand-authorized store, large retail chain or small shopkeeper.

The firm feels that the O2O model will drive sales for its partnered retailers and lead to shorter delivery timelines and save additional logistics investments like warehousing.

“In the first ever festive sale of Paytm Mall, we have collaborated with our partner brands and merchants to bring one of the largest assortments of cashback offers. Customers will get unbeatable prices on appliances, mobiles, fashion products and with the added trust of product getting delivered more from their nearest brand authorized stores or shopkeepers,” said Amit Sinha, COO, Paytm Mall said in a statement.

The company has partnered with brand-authorized stores, large retail chains and small shopkeepers to host a wide range of products at discounted prices. Leading brands like Puma, Allen Solly, Lee, Pepe, Levi’s, Vero Moda, Pepe, Killer, Van Heusen, Action among other brands are participating in the sale.

The platform will offer up to 70% cashback on apparel, up to 50% cashback on beauty and personal grooming products, up to 60% cashback on shoes, up to Rs. 20,000 cashback on luxury watches.
