Glenn Martens hit his stride in his third season at Y/Project, with the young Belgian talent serving up a mix of classic frabrics and new tech materials.

For Fall/Winter 2015, Y/Project continued with its brand of youthful, subculture-inspired menswear, this time featuring cool op art visual effects. Key pieces included double-breasted outerwear with a cool duffle toggle and metallic eyelet closure system, loose tailoring in houndstooth, tweed and a solid navy, shearling bombers, and vegetally treated leather trench coats with denim jacket paneling.

Martens also played with hologram latex and vinyl (in bright reds and irridescent finishes), military khaki, classic wool pieces and layered shapes. The usual interest in metallic hardware was there, from the zipper on a coat dress to the poppers on trousers. Another sporty/functional touch came with the boxing gear-inspired elasticated waistbands and sleeves on turtlenecks.
