Contained within the Puig group since the '60s, the brand has decided to re-launch with accessories, particularly bags. In early 2011, it will present the "69" bag, a great classic for the label, made with metallic discs in response to the nickname that he gave to Coco Chanel "métallurgiste de la mode” (Metalworker for fashion).

The small evening "pouch" re-created with a long strap, covered in metal discs and metal chains, the bag will be offered in five different materials. Lighter in weight, without losing its elegance, the discs come in various materials; animal horns, shagreen, suedeand matt and iridescent textured calfskin. Expected in stores in early February, the bags should be distributed in some 25 outlets in the world. A limited selection positioned at the top end of multibrand and department stores, such as Barneys, Le Bon Marché ... Three "collector" designs are also made exclusively for French retailer Comme des Garcons for distribution via its own network; twenty selected stores worldwide.

As well as the bag, not-to-miss pieces from Paco Rabanne will be successively released. Since 2006 when his ready-to-wear ranges were withdrawn from the market, only specific collaborations like this one with Comme des Garcons have taken place. Without ignoring the global success of his perfumes; One Million for men and the latest Lady Million for women were a launching pad that grew to an unexpected magnitude. It was almost as unexpected as welcome.
