Nudie Jeans opens first ‘Repair Shop’ in Oslo
Swedish denim brand, Nudie Jeans, last week opened its latest Repair Shop in Oslo, Norway, marking it as the first store from the brand to open in the country.
Nudie Jeans Repair Shops serve as a destination for customers to fix their jeans. The brand’s many shops that have opened around the world, in cities such as Los Angeles, Berlin, and Tokyo, have all received much praise.
The 650-square foot store located in Oslo’s Frogner District is much like all of the Repair Shops with handpicked, reclaimed vintage furniture pieces, grey sand textured walls and sections of exposed brick walls.
In addition to repairing jeans, the Oslo store will also offer the current Nudie Jeans collection including unisex selvage and pre-washed organic denim that is the brand’s claim to fame, plus outerwear, shirting, sweatshirts and t-shirts.
Since launching in Gothenburg, Sweden in 2001, Nudie Jeans has become the poster brand for sustainable denim. The brand currently has 20 Repair Shops in cities around the world including Osaka, Sydney, London’s Shoreditch, Stockholm, and its hometown Gothenburg.
