New Balance enters the tennis world
On Thursday, Milos Raonic reached the third round of the Australian Open in Melbourne. The young Canadian, ranked 13th in the world was up against Czech player Lukas Rosol 7-6 (7-2), 6-2, 6-3.
It was his first Grand Slam tournament in his new colours. Since the start of the year, Milos Roanic has been kitted by New Balance. For the American brand, this represents its first step into a new sport where it obviously sees potential. New Balance has done nothing to hide its multi-sport ambitions and to desire to succeed outside the world of running. From the month of August, the brand will offer a range of tennis clothing and shoes, developed in collaboration with the young tennis champion. The length of the deal has not been revealed.
