Myntra to host its third ‘Beauty Edit’ festival

Online fashion firm Myntra will host its third ‘Beauty Edit’ fest on May 29 and 30. The Flipkart-owned firm has tied up with leading cosmetics and beauty brands for the two day festival that will offer over 10,000 products.

Leading domestic and international brands will be participating in the festival. The new edition of the festival will also see 40 new brand launches on the platform that will include Avene, Wet n Wild, Wow Skin Science, FabIndia, Absolute New York, O3+, It's Skin and SNP (Korean sheet mask).
 
The e-commerce major had entered the beauty sector last year and has been aggressively expanding its brand portfolio.

The second edition of the festival held in March this year saw 15 new brand launches that included MUD (Make-up Designory Cosmetics), The Face shop, 3INA, Myglamm, Aveeno, among others.
 
Myntra is looking to make massive inroads in the country’s fast-growing beauty and personal care segment and eyeing $100-150-million business in the next two years. The overall beauty market in India is expected to touch $10 billion by 2021.
 
Myntra’s ‘Beauty Edit’ has now become a regular event post the success of its previous two editions. The first event began on December 6, wherein Myntra had claimed that they witnessed a 20-fold jump in beauty sales on the site.
