Myntra to host fourth edition of ‘Beauty Edit’, launch 30 new brands
Online fashion firm Myntra will host the fourth edition of the ‘Beauty Edit’ festival on September 4 to 5 and will be launching over 30 new brands to expand its beauty portfolio.
The theme for the fourth edition of the two-day Myntra Beauty Edit is #NeverEnough, under the notion that beauty and personal care products are never enough, according to the company.
“Miss Claire, Nova, Dermalogica, Juicy Chemistry, Ciate London, GK Hair, Swiss Image, Mauboussin, Faconnnable, Jeanne en Provence, Nissan and Dr. Scheller, are some of the international brands being launched during the event,” Myntra said in a statement.
Beauty and personal care has been growing at 400% year-on-year and is one of the fast-growing segments for Myntra. The e-commerce major had entered the beauty sector last year and has been aggressively expanding its brand portfolio.
The online retailer is looking to make further inroads in the country’s fast-growing beauty segment and will soon open multi-brand brick-and-mortar beauty stores under the Myntra Beauty brand. It is eyeing $100-150 million in business over the next two years.
Myntra’s ‘Beauty Edit’ has now become a regular event post the success of its previous three editions. The first event began on December 6, 2017.
