"I admit that I had no hesitations at all about sharing the reins with Eléonore (Baudry, ed. note). Her experience in e-commerce and luxury, which in addition is international, is an opportunity for Melijoe. I am now going to be apply to fully dedicate myself to the offer (of products, ed. note)," explained Nathalie Christen-Genty, president and founder of Melijoe which, in November 2014, raised 9 million euros in funding to accelerate its international development.

After spending 11 years at Procter & Gamble and A.T. Kearney as a strategy advisor, Eléonore Baudry joined Kering's strategy division in 2005, and then the Gucci Group as the director of the group's brands' e-business strategy.

In 2008 she was appointed head of Gucci brand worldwide e-business in New York. Three years later she left Gucci for Sarenza.com, where she oversaw international development before taking on the role of deputy CEO.

"What goal do I hold close to heart? That new Korean, American and Italians mothers make Melijoe their shopping destination for children's apparel as of the next back-to-school season!" said Eléonore Baudry, the new managing director of Melijoe, which currently generates half of its sales internationally.
