Manish Arora opens second studio and workshop at Dhan Mill compound with installation

Manish Arora is celebrating a decade showing at Paris Fashion Week with an installation at his new design studio and workshop.

Arguably one of India’s best known designers on the international fashion scene, Manish Arora has successfully completed 20 seasons at Paris Fashion week with his eponymous brand. The designer recently opened his second design studio and workshop at the Dhan Mill compound near Chhattarpur and inaugurated the space with an installation of his designs.

At the exhibition opening, Arora spoke about his experience at Paris Fashion Week and said: “The platform is an important one as it has given me the opportunity to represent India in its pure vibrancy.” A selection of his favourite designs shown in Paris over the past decade have been put on show there but Arora said that it was a real struggle to choose his favourites as he loved so many of the designs. Arora has also been showing a selection of his designs over the years on his social media sites.

Describing his new workshop as full of “happiness, joy and glorious celebrations, illustrating what makes life truly beautiful,” Arora expressed his excitement at opening the new space. As for the brand’s retail plans, Arora’s focus is currently on China where he has already opened in Shanghai and Suzhou. Three more store openings are planned for mainland China in the near future as well as in the Far East.
