Set for a release in spring 2015, the latest capsule collection from MAC will see the cosmetics company work with world-famous milliner Philip Treacy.

The new capsule collection project has been in the works for around two years, according to Treacy, who was able to let his own tastes dictate the look of the line.

"MAC allowed me to have complete freedom on the collaborations -- from the shades, the look-and-feel, to the campaign visuals," explained the 47-year-old Irish designer. "I have to admit that the visual aspect of the collection excites me most. For designers, we care about the photographs much more than a Ferrari."

To be available globally from spring of next year, the line will features 12 products including highlight powders, Fluidlines, Paint Pots, mascara, lipsticks and a brush.

Treacy is well known for his couture hats, having worked with a plethora of fashion's biggest names inlcuding Alexander McQueen, Valentino Garavani, Ralph Lauren and Karl Lagerfeld.

It's the latest in a long line of celebrity collaborations for MAC, which has recently announced new capsule collections with Italian designer Giambattista Valli and Chinese star Bao Bao Wan.
