French actress Lou de Laâge has won a new role as the face of Givenchy's ‘Irrésistible' fragrance.

The French beauty house took to Instagram to announce the news, posting a trio of photos spelling out "Lou de Laâge, The Irrésistible Girl" with a headshot of the star. The accompanying caption read: "We are pleased to announce our collaboration with French actress Lou de Laâge, who will be the new face for the Irrésistible fragrance line."
"Her spontaneous and authentic personality goes hand in hand with her grace and natural charm," Romain Spitzer, Parfums Givenchy chief executive officer, told WWD. "Lou exudes a true intensity, combined with a subtle sensitivity that's a perfect fit for the Irrésistible line."
De Laâge, whose campaign for the brand will drop in 2018, isn't the first film star to front the fragrance -- US actress Amanda Seyfried took on the role in 2013, replacing fellow Hollywood star Liv Tyler.
Although a successful actress, having won both the Prix Romy Schneider and the European Shooting Stars award, de Laâge has plenty of experience as a model, having starred in several cosmetics campaigns for Bourjois over the years.
