Supermodel Linda Evangelista is using her beauty expertise to fight the signs of aging, thanks to a new role as Vice President and Creative Director of skincare brand Erasa.

The 51-year-old Canadian star has been unveiled as the face of Erasa XEP-30, an anti-aging skincare concentrate that launched last summer. She will also work with the brand's product innovation team on creating new cutting-edge, clinically proven skincare products.

Evangelista first discovered Erasa last year, when it was gifted to her by a friend.

"As someone who has had the amazing opportunity to work with incredible brands and industry leaders, I'm most excited and humbled to be a part of the Erasa family because it is wholeheartedly a product I believe in and stand behind based on the true and lasting improvements I have seen in my skin," she states.

Erasa is part of US-based BioMimetic Laboratories and Skyler Brand Ventures, a major research and development incubator in the cosmetics industry. It currently sells online and in select global outlets.

Credited with ushering in the original age of the 'supermodel', Evangelista first shot to fame in the early 1980s and became one of the 'top five', alongside Christy Turlington, Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, and Claudia Schiffer. Alongside her unprecedented fashion career, she has acted as an activist for causes including HIV/AIDS research and breast cancer awareness.
