Burak Susoy - Lectra

Burak Susoy joined Lectra in 1999, after working four years for Ricoh's Turkish distributor. His career took him from account manager to commercial director to country manager of Lectra Turkey. In 2012 he joined Dassault Systèmes, and managed their Turkish operations until last September.

"I'm happy for Burak Susoy's return to Lectra, in charge of a region whose potential we recognise," commented Daniel Harari, Lectra's CEO. "Turkey's business energy is well-proven, thanks to high-calibre entrepreneurs, great expertise and the ability to develop quality products. The country is currently Europe's second-largest supplier for textiles and clothing and is a reliable base for several automotive equipment manufacturers."

In 2014 Lectra generated a revenue of €211 million and currently numbers 23,000 clients in over one hundred countries. The company employs a staff of 1,500 and works notably for major luxury goods groups such as Vuitton and Hermès, as well as fast fashion specialists such as H&M. The company recently appointed Jean-Patrice Gros as head of operations in northern Europe.
