Lanvin gets its groove on this Winter

Published

There has been a slight change in mood in Lanvin’s new advertising campaign. After the icy, Hitchcockian look of its Fall/Winter 2010 campaign, with inert models lying across sofas, this time the brand took the opposite direction and opted for a light-hearted atmosphere and lots of movement. Lanvin’s new campaign video features several supermodels getting their grove on to Pitbull's “I Know You Want Me” smash hit. Then an unexpected but nevertheless welcomed guest appearance comes towards the end: Lanvin’s creative director, Alber Elbaz, joins in the fun and starts busting some moves with two other models.

Shot by Steven Meisel and directed by House and Holme, Lanvin’s new Autumn/Winter 2011-12 campaign features well-known faces such as Raquel Zimmermann, Karen Elson, as well as the two “Lanvin men”, Lowell Tautchin and Milo Spijkers.
