Kiko Milano enters Mumbai, to expand presence across India

Italian cosmetic brand Kiko Milano has entered the fashion capital of India with its fourth store at the Sea Wood Grand Central in Mumbai.

The Italian cosmetic brand had entered the Indian beauty market through a partnership with DLF Brands Ltd and launched its first store at DLF Mall of India in Noida. It was followed by its second store at DLF Promenade in Vasant Kunj and its third historic store at Ambience Mall in the country, which was also Kiko Milano’s 1000th store worldwide.
 
The company is looking to further expand its presence in the Indian cosmetic market and plans to add another 45 stores by 2020 across the country.

“We are happy to launch our fourth store in Mumbai. We aim to continue to keep up with the fast pace and look forward to opening many more stores across the country,"​ said Timmy Sarna, Managing Director & CEO, DLF Brands Ltd in a statement.
 
In 2016, the market size of India’s beauty, cosmetic and grooming market was USD 6.5 billion and is expected to reach USD 20 billion by 2025, according to a recent report by The Associated Chambers of Commerce of India (Assocham).
 
“As Kiko is a one stop beauty destination for all make up lovers, it gives me immense pleasure to announce the launch of Kiko's first store in the fashion capital, Mumbai. Kiko Milano is an international vibrant brand, which must have its presence all over India,” said Annanya Sabarwal, Country Director, Kiko Milano.

As part of its 20th anniversary celebrations Kiko Milano will partner with seven international brands linked with emerging designers who will get an opportunity to design seven limited edition capsule collections which will be launched throughout the year 2017.
 
Kiko has more than 1000 stores in over 20 countries and has an online presence in 36 nations offering over 1400 products.
