Kenneth Cole launches new men's fragrance

Kenneth Cole is building upon the success of his signature 'Kenneth Cole Black' fragrance with the launch of a new scent -- 'Black Bold'.

Inspired by the spirit of New York, the fragrance features masculine citrus and herbal top notes, rounded out with a blend of ground nutmeg and a touch of lotus flower and finished with woody elements and a touch of leathery musk. The concoction was devised by the US designer in tandem with Master Perfumer Harry Fremont of Firmenich. 

"For more than 30 years, the company has embraced the essence of New York -- its boldness, its energy, and its diversity," said the designer. "I wanted Black Bold to do just that -- to celebrate the confident individuals who are the protagonists in their own personal stories of resilience, optimism, and ambition."

The masculine theme is underlined by a sleek bottle design inspired by the brand's menswear lines, incorporating a luxe leather-like material in a modern silhouette. The fragrance will be available in 1 oz, 1.7 oz and 3.4 oz quantities.

Model and artist David Alexander Flinn has been chosen as the face of the fragrance's print and digital campaign, shot in New York by Gregory Harris.

The Black Bold advertising campaign was shot by photographer Gregory Harris in New York, NY, and features model and artist David Alexander Flinn. The campaign will be supported by a robust print and digital campaign.

Kenneth Cole Black Bold will be available in store, at KennethCole.com and at Macy's, and select retailers from August, priced between $46 and $76.
