The first Karl Lagerfeld store in the U.K. has opened its doors at address 145-147 Regent Street. The 250-square retail space is the brand’s first flagship in Europe, following the opening of its first concept store in Paris on the Boulevard Saint-Germain in March 2013.

The inaugural event was held in the evening on Thursday, March 13 with guests such as Princess Beatrice of York, Amanda Harlech, Olivier Zahm, Arizona Muse, Amber Le Bon, Haim and David Gandy. Karl Lagerfeld also joined in the celebration, along with Pier Paolo Righi, CEO of the brand that bears the designer's name (photo). The guests got a peek at the 2014-2015 Fall-Winter collections of the different Karl Lagerfeld lines (men, women, accessories and leather goods) in an exlusive preview for the occasion.

"Opening on Regent Street provides us with an exceptional opportunity to position our brand in this important market," said Pier Paolo Righi, CEO of Karl Lagerfeld. "London is one of the world’s leading cities when it comes to retail and this location offers a unique brand mix."

This opening is the 17th Karl Lagerfeld store since the opening of the label's first retail location in Paris in 2013. Last Tuesday at the Palais de la Bourse in Paris, Karl Lagerfeld celebrated the launch of two new eponymous fragrances, created in partnership with Interparfums and distributed in the Karl Lagerfeld boutiques and Galeries Lafayette among other stores.
