Kareena Kapoor Khan closes LFW as Monisha Jaising's diva at grand finale

Monisha Jaising brought the curtains down on the Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2018 with Kareena Kapoor Khan as her diva during the showcase of her grand finale collection "Shades of a Diva".
 

Monisha’s collection was inspired by Lakme's theme of the season, 'Shades of a Diva'. The collection was comprised of thigh-high slit gowns, short dresses, cocktail dresses, sarees, and jumpsuits.
 
Commenting on her collection and showstopper, Jaising in a statement said, “I'm ecstatic that my signature style and my design philosophy have perfect synergy with this theme. When you get a diva like Kareena that I have to dress then obviously I am going to be inspired."

Kareena Kapoor Khan also launched her first ever makeup collection with Lakmé Absolute during the event which will be available on e-commerce platforms and retail outlets across India.
 
Talking about her collection, Kareena said, "It has been great as we have been associated for almost eight years so it has been a long collaboration and make-up is something every actor wears so coming together to do a make-up tie-up, I think the timing has been just perfect."
 
This is the 38th season of the Lakme Fashion Week. The five-day fashion event jointly organized by Lakme and IMG Reliance Pvt Ltd began on August 22 and saw stalwarts from the industry showcase their collections at the event along with new talent.
