Juicy Couture contracts the Folli Follie group to grow its European market

Juicy Couture wants more out of Europe. The U.S. womenswear brand, bought by Authentic Brands in late 2013, has signed a partnership to foster its growth in Europe. The Greek fashion group Folli Follie has been assigned the exclusive European distribution of Juicy Couture.

The agreement covers both retail and wholesale for all of continental Europe and the U.K., Ireland and Cyprus. Ready-to-wear, sportswear and accessories from the mid-market women's brand are currently only available in some European countries.

Folli Follie's home market Greece has a few Juicy Couture shops and corners as does the United Kingdom. The brand has also opened several corners in department stores in Spain and Germany.

Folli Follie now intends to grow this initial network in these countries, but also open new markets. Announcements of more stores and shop-in-shop should follow soon.

The Greek group is both distributor and owner of the accessories line Folli Follie and the jewelry brand Links of London, and intends to use Juicy Couture to develop an international presence.
