John Varvatos: Cristiano Quieti steps down as President and CEO

John Varvatos confirmed on Wednesday that Cristiano Quieti has stepped down as President and Chief Executive Officer of the company. Quieti joined the company in May 2013.

“I’d like to thank Cristiano for his passion and dedication over these last few years,” said John Varvatos. “He has been very supportive of the John Varvatos brand and we wish him all the best in his future endeavors. This is a new chapter for us and we look forward to our continued growth.”
 
Prior to John Varvatos, Quieti held a number of positions at Diesel Group including Managing Director of Diesel UK from February 2004 to December 2006, Vice President Global Business of Diesel Group from January 2007 to June 2011 and Chief Executive Officer of Diesel USA from July 2011 to April 2013. He joined Diesel in January 1999 as Global Retail Director.
